We haven’t filed our taxes yet. (Easy Mr. IRS, we’re gonna get it done.) But I’ve already spent our refund in my mind. It’s going to go to redoing some floors (bye-bye cheap linoleum in the guest bathroom) and replacing our super old windows with new energy efficient ones (hello lower electric bill). This is all functional stuff that we really need to get done. However, what I really wish we could do with the funds is put some work into our master bathroom.
I love bathrooms. I love taking long baths where I have to run more hot water because it’s went from blazing hot to lukewarm in the hour I’ve been lounging about. I love sitting on the counter talking to the boy while he showers. I love having nice cool tile to lay my fevered cheek on when I’ve drank far more than my stomach can appreciate and I’m praying to the gods of beer to finally be able to upchuck (I can’t throw up. Nice affliction on occasion but a painful ailment when too boozed up). So I want my bathroom to be 100% awesome (instead of the 80% awesome it is now) like these
